This guide will show you all about how to recover lost(deleted) data from Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+.
“I got the S9 Plus as soon as it was released. I was so excited to use it and got to transfer all my files from my old S8 to my new phone. I accidentally deleted a video of my son’s graduation ceremony yesterday, and I badly want to recover it.
Unfortunately, I gave my old phone to my cousin and I formatted it before I even handed it to him. Can I still have that video back?”

Everyone is racing to get their hands on the newest Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The phones’ exterior show close similarities with their predecessors S8 and S8 Plus.
What’s beneath, however, shows that they are better and smarter versions. Samsung has taken note of what they didn’t do well before and gave their previous headliners a boost.
Both S9 and S9 Plus boast a high-power camera that works exceptionally well in low-light conditions. It is no magic, but rather the dual aperture technology at work. The AR Emoji, a feature that converts an image of you into a 3D avatar, is a fun addition. The Super Slow-mo video capability is too. The video resolution, however, has plenty of room for improvement.
The improved biometrics is worth noting too. The phones’ Intelligent Scan technology fuses Samsung’s iris scanner and facial recognition. This has improved the accuracy of these two features, but much can be done to beat Apple’s Face ID.
The fingerprint scanner is also more accessible now, located just below the camera. Let’s not forget their AKG-tuned stereo speakers. They support Dolby Atmos and are audibly louder. The S9 Plus gets a speed boost with 10nm chips, so you can multitask seamlessly.
One of its main highlights, though, is its imposing 6.2-inch infinity display. S9, on the other hand, is the same size as its older counterpart. Better features translate to a heftier price tag, of course.
To say that S9 and S9 Plus are the best Android phones to date is highly subject to debate. However, we must give credit where it is due. Samsung has definitely upped its game with new and exciting features housed in their usual elegant and waterproof phones.
Samsung’s new stars are the brand’s most powerful phones yet, but data loss can still affect users. In fact, data loss is universal and spares no devices. It can be caused by any of the following:
System malfunctions
Corruption of SD card
Water damage

Human error, or simply put, accidental deletion

Hi, After constantly being prompted to install the latest update I scheduled the update for 02:00. Last night I went to bed at 00:40, set my alarm for 06:00 and my phone was working fine. I woke up at 05:30 to tend to my 7 month old baby and noticed the following message on my phone: Device storage corrupt. The data partition has been corrupted. You need to reset your device to factory default setting. This will erase all of your data. There appears to be no options but reset and I am not prepared to reset the device and lose all of the pictures and videos of my daughter. I have had no issues with my phone prior to this update and I am highly pissed off. Please advise me on how I can recover my pictures and videos and get my phone in working order. Regards, Nic
